Comfortable bed and friendly staff, but the hallway carpets need updating.

The Queen Room was pretty spacious and the bed was comfortable. I liked the rustic log furniture—definitely added charm! Also, having a fridge and microwave was a nice touch. The shower was fine too. But the breakfast options could use some variety, and the overall vibe in the room felt a bit dark and gloomy. Still, it was a decent stay overall.

This was an optimal selection for a short layover in Ponderay with extraordinarily good value for money. The staff was very friendly and made the experience pleasant. Try to get a room that doesn't have that weird odor.

great access to parks and market for weekend strolls
during my stay, I loved that the staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was just a short 10-minute walk to the beautiful Sandpoint City Beach Park where I enjoyed peaceful views by the water. The nearby Cedar Street Bridge Public Market was a delightful spot to explore local shops and eateries.

The rustic furniture in the room added a charming touch, while the updated fridge and microwave proved convenient. The forest view from our second-floor queen room was stunning, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Conveniently located near hiking trails, the area offers plenty of natural beauty, although the breakfast left room for improvement.

missingWrote a review on Aug 20rustic decorlarge parkingsmall room
Good spread of rustic decor with log furniture gave the place an inviting vibe. The large parking area made coming and going easy, especially with luggage in tow.
The room felt small, more suited for solo travelers than couples, causing moments of awkward navigation with luggage. WiFi connection was spotty at times, making it tough for anyone needing to stay connected. Sadly, the bathroom needed better attention. I noticed some mold around the tub, which was a bit off-putting. Also, I had issues with the A/C that just refused to cooperate despite the heat outside.

Unexpected warmth in chilly weather
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with hot coffee and friendly smiles, ready to tackle our local adventures. The spacious room offered views of the serene forest, enhancing our stay.
However, the breakfast options were minimal, lacking variety for our three days. Additionally, the hot tub was out of service, which was disappointing after long hikes.

The room had air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a seating area, making it cozy. I enjoyed the fresh coffee available all day and the hot tub was relaxing after hiking. The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast included freshly baked croissants and hot coffee, which was a nice start to the day.

Recommended for families on a budget
We booked a suite which had 3 queen beds for our family of 6. The best part was that my kids had a blast in the hot tub while I dealt with some laundry issues. The receptionist even helped me out with quarters.
The place wasn't exactly cheap but it was still acceptable for what we needed.
